For the Crust:
1 egg
2 sticks of butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
For the Filling:
4 large apples, peeled, cored and sliced
4 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 Cup brown sugar
2 tsps cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
For the Topping:
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup flour
4 tablespoons butter melted
Preheat oven to 350. Line a 13 x 9 pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl combine the egg, butter, and sugar. Mix till creamy. Add flour and salt. Stir well. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes. While the crust bakes, combine apples, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Stir well. Pour over crust. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, and butter. Stir it well, then spread it over the filling. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool.
